If you are on a call that you need to transfer to someone else please follow the below steps:


1. Press the transfer button, and you will be prevented with 2 options:

  1. Transfer - which will send the call directly to the person/number you select
  2. Consult then transfer - allows you to communicate first with the person you would like to transfer to, and then if they are available you can transfer the call.


2. If you have selected Transfer, you will be presented with the "Transfer call" box, here is where you would either type the name of the person you'd like to transfer to, or a full phone number if it is a number outside of the teams environment. After picking the individual, you can select the transfer button to complete the transfer.


3. If you are using the consult and transfer option, once you have selected the person's name, it will call them and you can ask them if they would like to accept the transfer.  If so you can press the "Transfer" button as indicated below to complete the transfer.



4. In both options above, when you type a persons name as part of teams, you're default option is "Chat". Which allows you to message via text the individual to see if they'd like to accept the transfer.  The drop down allows you to select some other options, as you can see Audio Call, or any external numbers associated with the user are also available.
